don't say nuttin' at all!
If you're a boomer, this phrase was a large part of your childhood. And if you're younger, you have probably seen the movie "Bambi" at some time in your life. In any case, Thumper was right - it's always best to keep your mouth shut if your comments aren't nice - or if they aren't supportive or productive.
This is especially important right now. Because others are on edge (which "edge" differs from person to person but everyone has his or her limits at this time) and they are quite vociferous about unhelpful, or hurtful, words. So please be careful about what you say and to whom you say it! And if you believe that the words of another are hurtful to you, don't retaliate. "Turning the other cheek" is the best course. Not because you are being "better" than someone else but because retaliation simply keeps the hurtful energy going.
You know the world is better when kindness is practiced - this is especially true for the first part of May.
Blessings,
Kathy
